Raw emotions.

As I read Matthew's story I was able to relate, growing up in a Christian home can sometimes delay one's realization of just how real Christ is and how much we need him in our life. I was truly encouraged by Matthew's way of not hiding his past, I feel if we are all open to the call to missions more would go and not let their past stop them. Matthew's story is worth reading, I recommend it to anyone interested in missions.

Great book, fantastic (some REALLY funny

Great book, fantastic (some REALLY funny!) personal stories, great book for anyone considering missions or for families wanting to inspire children as a "family read-out-loud book." Written to the "average person." Matthew writes from his heart describing a process - from being initially opposed to missions to living a life of faith. Highly recommend it.
