About the Author
T.K. Leigh, otherwise known as Tracy Leigh Kellam, is the USA Today Best Selling author of the Beautiful Mess series. Originally from New England, she now resides in sunny Southern California with her husband, dog and three cats, all of which she has rescued (including the husband). She always had a knack for writing, but mostly in the legal field. It wasn’t until recently that she decided to try her hand at creative writing and is now addicted to creating different characters and new and unique story lines in the Contemporary Romantic Suspense genre. When she’s not planted in front of her computer, writing away, she can be found running and training for her next marathon (of which she has run over fifteen fulls and far too many halfs to recall). Unlike Olivia, the main character in her Beautiful Mess series, she has yet to qualify for the Boston Marathon.

An emotional thrill ride of epic proportions....

my gawd.... TK Leigh outdid herself with this one. I was given an arc in exchange for my honest review.

Mackenzie controls every aspect of her life after her heart gets broken, years prior. She meticulously keeps everything in order. She has no time for love.
Tyler is given a case to retrieve information from a woman who lets no one in. Neither one was expecting to have the other infiltrate their every thought. If they want to have a relationship, they need to break all the rules and follow their hearts.
"I'll ruin you. I'll destroy you. If you let me in, know that I will dismantle everything. Your world, your existence, your life. Everything."
If you've read any of T.K. Leigh's previous novels, you'll go into this one with high expectations. This one far exceeded any expectations I had. 'Chasing the Dragon' was an emotional, thrill ride of epic proportions. I was a big Team Cam member, but Tyler has definitely given him a run for his money. Imagine taking the best parts of Alex and Cam and putting them together... THAT is Tyler. Did you just swoon a little?

I saw TK Leigh was putting out a new book and I knew I HAD to read it. She's just one of those authors that you know you won't be disappointed with their work. Oh, all the feels, the suspense, the passion! It’s overwhelming. It’s intense. It’s beautiful!

WOW! What a ride! T.K. Leigh brings so much passion and intensity into her stories. Her words have a way of hypnotizing me, holding me captive until the very end. Every single time I finish a novel from this author, I am left speechless, at a loss for words, with my emotions all over the place, completely, utterly, and wonderfully spent. As a huge fan of Ms. Leigh’s BEAUTIFUL MESS series, I just knew she would bring her ‘A Game’ in this new spin-off series. It has got to be so hard when starting a new series after such a successful one. You have such high expectations to live up to. I’m here to tell you the expectations were surpassed in CHASING THE DRAGON. Once you get a taste of Tyler Burnham, there is no going back. Step aside Alexander Burnham. It is Tyler Burnham’s time to shine.

I mean…COME ON! Total SWOON-WORTHY is he not?! CHASING THE DRAGON is about a woman who not just craves, but requires control. It’s about a man who will do what it takes to knock her off her axis and give up that control. She was supposed to be an assignment, nothing more. But when she ends up surrendering to him, giving up her control, and carefully placing it in his hands, the lines begin to blur, and walls start to crumble. How far will Tyler go to get the answers he needs from the woman who is digging her way into his heart and soul? Lies and deception can break a human being, especially one as vulnerable as Mackenzie Delano. Someone already broke her heart a long time ago. Will she be able to survive another blow?
Both of the main characters were amazing. T.K. Leigh is a master at creating these beautiful, complex, and strong heroes and heroines, and Mackenzie and Tyler are no exception. Mackenzie is a strong, independent, woman who is living her dream. Even with all of the heartache of the past, she is not looking to break anytime soon. Tyler Burnham is a gorgeous, successful, charming man. Tyler pushes Mackenzie, takes her out of her element, makes her stable life a little less stable. The control that Mackenzie covets is easily taken away by the man with the hypnotizing green eyes. He has her going off schedule and she no longer had the sudden urge to follow routine. She finally felt free.

Amazing!!!

Chasing The Dragon is everything you expect from TK Leigh and more! There is mystery, suspense, drama, secrets, betrayal, intrigue, passion and love!
Mackenzie's life has been one of secrets and sadness having to hide who she is for her own protection. After being betrayed by the man she loved and trusted Mackenzie sought comfort in control and not letting anyone in except for her two best friends. She thinks she is perfectly happy living that way until she meets a gorgeous man who sweeps her off her feet. No matter how hard she tries to not let him affect her, he does.
Tyler Burnham is working an assignment with his brother for the FBI. He is to get in a relationship and gain information from a woman whom the FBI claims has information affecting national security. He has been living in his past pain, grief and loneliness. Not making a connection to anyone for more than the physical, so he felt he could do his job no problem. Get in a relationship with his asset to get information to get his job done. No risk there since he has felt nothing since the death of the love of his life. Only it wasn't that easy.
Tyler and Mackenzie have an instant attraction and chemistry that leave them both off kilter and questioning everything they thought they believe. Tyler is absolutely swoon worthy and knows just what to say and do. Soon he finds that he is feeling things he hadn't felt in years and he is torn. How far will Tyler go to find out what he's looking for? Will he abandon his assignment or deal Mackenzie the worst type of betrayal ever?
This book overwhelmed me in such an amazing way. I could not get enough! My heart and mind could hardly take the emotional roller coaster ride it was on. This is book one of a two book duet, and I am beyond excited to see what is to come!
